This award celebrates Texas employers who demonstrate a profound commitment to employing those who have served our country.
A Commitment Measured in Dedication
The "We Hire Vets" program is designed to recognize companies that have at least 10% of their Texas workforce comprised of veterans. Team Housing Solutions proudly exceeds this standard with nearly 20% of our team consisting of veterans.
This recognition allows THS to display the official "We Hire Vets" decal on our premises and utilize a digital decal on our website, demonstrating our commitment to hiring military talent.

This commitment to hiring veterans is deeply rooted in the history and mission of Team Housing Solutions. Since its founding in 1995, Team Housing Solutions has established a strong presence as a service provider for the government and military sectors.
Three decades of experience providing lodging logistics and comprehensive support services have given Team Housing Solutions a unique understanding of the precise needs of these mission-critical operations. Team Housing Solutions is a federally certified, woman-owned small business that has been awarded over 48 GSA contracts since 2010, specializing in providing group hotel lodging solutions and workforce housing for professionals traveling across the United States and internationally, particularly for government, military, and defense contractors.
Team Housing Solutions also provides mission support services for large-scale deployments and disaster recovery efforts, in addition to developing and managing base camps, often supporting service members directly in Texas and globally:
Forward Operating Base (FOB) Eagle: Secured a quick project award for an 80-acre, fully turnkey camp on the Rio Grande, housing 2,300 members of the Texas National Guard, by proposing the ideal land parcel just 24 hours after receiving the RFP. The project successfully provided a superior living environment with private rooms and comprehensive life support services, including dining, recreation, maintenance, and an infirmary, all with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for personnel. Team Housing Solutions overcame site-specific permitting and utility challenges to maintain the timeline and budget. This effort included constructing approximately 400,000 sq ft of buildings and integrating services like 24/7 catering and weekly recreational events.
Base Camp Alpha: Rapid deployment of a fully operational Base Camp for the Texas Military Department, accommodating up to 1,410 people. The turnkey facility included amenities like 1,414 beds, 24/7 dining, a gym, a library, and offices. The project prioritized high quality of life and continuous improvement for the occupants
Base Camp Walker: Successfully replaced existing rapid response trailers with new modular living quarters for over 700 soldiers in a four-phase swap. This transition provided a more comfortable, long-term solution with comprehensive amenities while achieving cost savings and minimal disruption to personnel on the ground. The final facility provided 715 beds, full dining services, a 24/7 gym, and other key support structures.
