Billing Specialist

Job Description

Due to expansion, we are excited to have a new opening in our New Braunfels HQ Office for a highly-organized team player to prepare invoicing and post payments from multi-national and regional companies. We are looking for a self-motivated, detailed problem-solver to perform some amount of “detective work” for each invoice generated. The ideal person for this role will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and appreciate rapid changes.

Essential Job Duties

  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances.
  • Data entry in our Accounting system.
  • Investigate historical data for each invoice.
  • Handling customer phone calls and inquiries.
  • Process customer check and credit card payments, including posting payments to customer’s accounts in a timely manner.
  • Assist with projects in non-accounting areas as needed.
  • On-Call Required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of A/R experience/or graduated with an Accounting degree preferred.
  • Write e-mails to clients with impeccable grammar and spelling.
  • Ability to work well with a wide array of personalities with overlapping objectives in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Must be highly proficient using MS Office 365 Applications including Excel and Outlook. (SharePoint experience preferred).

Experience

  • Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Accounts Receivable: 3 years (Preferred)
